The reality of Quitting Your job in 90 days
to work full-time online

I’ll say right here and now that I DIDN’T manage to
quit my job and go full time online in 90 days…

It actually took me 97!

And that was from the point that I actually put my mind to it
and said ‘OK – this is it – playing for keeps and no looking
back!’

The secret to managing to quit your job and go full time into
your own internet marketing business is down to two things:

1. Determination

2. Having a ’system’ in place.

I can’t give you the first one – that’s up to you.

It’s like quitting smoking. You try so many times using various
methods, props and crutches, but the time you actually succeed
in quitting is the time you finally decide to just DO IT.

So if you want to quit your job, the determination part is up to you I’m afraid.

But the SYSTEM that you’ll need to have in place – that all successful marketers have in place, to a greater or lesser degree is up to you.

Basically you need to install an ‘automatic process’ in your business that converts leads into subscribers, and subscribers into buyers.

And best of all it’s pretty easy to put into place.

For example you could offer a free report, then push your prospects through a sales funnel where they’re given options based on their needs and wants.

It should include upsells (they’ve bought one thing from you so why not just add a complimentary product to the basket)

And if they’re not interested in that product and decide to leave your site, maybe another of your products would be more suited to them.

You might have heard marketers talk about ‘the sales funnel’

But did you know that most marketers leave PILES of money on the table by not thinking about the process from their customer’s point of view?

For example if you’ve just subscribed to a newsletter to receive a free report, you’re less likely to spend $997 on a coaching program.

But the same prospect might well be interested in a DVD telling them how to build a simple blog and profit from it within 30 days, especially if it’s priced at $27, and advertised as a ’subscriber only discount’

There’s a very real art to building your system.

And the best way of all is to subscribe to other marketers lists, and to see how they do it….

If you like an idea you can use it yourself, and if something makes you angry or you feel like they’re just out to take your money, you know to avoid that idea when you build your own system.

The secret is to put yourself in the customer’s shoes.

Too few marketers actually do this.

Good luck.

The Tandy Affair

So there’s this older mature woman. She’s a semi-famous mystery writer, and she looks very distinguished and mature but still good natured with a hint of child-like wonder. Anyway, she goes to visit her friend who’s sick and needs some semi-major surgery, in the English countyside. It’s semi-major, but there’s the off chance that she might need a kidney, and this is just the sort of issue for an older mature woman to deal with since people want to know what to do in these touchy situations, and usually these older intelligent women have respectable solutions that we can live with.

Anyway, when she’s there, there’s a murder and since last time she was there there was a murder she helped solve, since she’s a mystery writer and stuff, the local police detective reluctantly asks her for help. The detective is happy to see her and all, but he just doesn’t like asking for help because he’s a stubborn older man and a little bit sexually attracted to our older woman. So, she’s here sort of juggling scenes between her friend and solving the mystery amidst this beautiful countryside, and her older male second hand man who seems to follow her everywhere for some reason and helps her solve mysteries in a friendship-based support capacity, is there too.

So, it turns out same as last time, the butler did it. And this lady’s really good, and she pieces a lot of random clues together, so everyone’s sure she’s right. It’s just that this town has the worst butler luck ever.

Dragon Ball Manga

Ok, so I imagine most of you have watched Dragon Ball. Maybe not all of it but have seen it on TV or even read a chapter or two of the manga at the very least. It is one of the most pinnacle manga series of all time. it is unlikely that Naruto would be the same had it not been for Dragon Ball. Naruto was inspired by Dragon Ball, a fact that Kishimoto himself verified.

It is one of the most popular series (anime and manga) of all time and should be read, or at least sampled, by any Naruto/One Piece enthusiast. (One Piece was also inspired by DB!)

Anyway, pretty much all scans of DB are very low quality. No matter which site you go on, it will be the same exact scan. Low quality and annoying to read. Of course owning all of the volumes in their intended book format would be ideal but that is not feasible for everyone. If you were to buy all volumes, it would reach well over £150 (US - $200+)

Basically my point is that Dragon Ball is being re-scanned and re-translated by a group called H.A.O. (Heidi’s Army of Outlaws) They are not releasing the chapters each week, but they are producing them at a ridiculous standard. Which compensates for the long wait in between their releases.

Here is a link to their direct downloads page: Direct Downloads (DDL) H.A.O Manga

As well as Dragon Ball they are doing other series, but I am more interested in the DB manga.

You should definitely download the first volume (they are part way through vol. 5) just to see their ridiculously high quality scans!!

New pages for the site

As the topic states, I've been thinking of some new pages that the site seriously needs. Especially since we're working on our third year being on the interwebs, we need to have to following pages:

1. Site History Page
Naruto411 went online in late December 2007. It's now March 2010. We're been through a lot now, and most of you probably were not there to experience it. I'm sure this will catch up a lot of the users that weren't with us in the beginning.

2. Staff Page.
Naruto411 has a small staff. But it isn't small enough to have no staff page, man. We got two admins, two mods, two uploaders, and a unofficial graphic designer. Yeah, we're straight pimpin'. Anyway, I actually want some suggestions for this. What questions would you want to see to on a staff page?

3. Downloads Page (2.0)
Naruto411 pumps out a crapton of uploads each week. So many that we can barely keep them in one post. But what if you want to download a older episode? Say episode 112 (being random)? You're likely shit outta luck unless you would rather torrent or google around. But we do have a search bar. However, I doubt many use it! I feel having a better download page would be useful for users that aren't caught up with the anime.

As always, we are open for ideas for other pages as well. Let us know what you want or think! :D
