Plot Information

Summary: After losing their mother, Alphonse and Edward Elric attempt to bring her back using the forbidden science of human alchemy. However, alchemy operates on the theory of equivalent trade, and breaking the human alchemy taboo carries a heavy price. Ed loses his leg, and Al loses his body. Ed is able to seal Al's soul inside of a huge suit of armor, at the cost of his arm. Years later, Ed (now with two mechanical limbs) and Al (still trapped in the armor) leave their childhood home, each brother concerned with the others happiness. Ed, who has a natural talent and skill for alchemy, becomes nationally certified and is soon known everywhere as the "Fullmetal Alchemist." Their true objective is to search for any information on the fabled Philosopher's Stone, hoping it will allow them to regain their old bodies. All of their hopes rest with this mythical stone, which may not even exist at all. However, the brothers soon learn that they are not the only ones after the powerful stone.

Differences with the First Anime Series: Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is NOT a continuation of the first anime series. The first anime series was loosely based on the manga, but the majority of the plot was actually created by the animation studio, Bones. With the new series, Bones is starting over but is following Hiromu Arakawa (the original creator of Fullmetal Alchemist) by staying closer to the manga. You can expect some major differences this time around and the plot should have a lot more depth, so expect even more from the new series!

One of the many animes that I finished recently is this anime. Soul Eater is an anime I actually bought from beginning to end and I actually waited for each release to come out. Sure... I could of downloaded it, but the dub of this series is easier to stomach than the subbed version. Why? Maka's and Black Star's voice are far by the loudest and most annoying voices I've ever heard. In the English dub, shit makes more sense, and it's easier on the ears. I'd at least give a try instead being a dub nazi like some of you are.

Alright folks!

I recently came over this show, and I figured I'd give it a try.

I've only seen 5 episodes yet, but so far its a pretty good Anime,
(I'll update when I see more of it)

Synopsis:
[Spoiler]
Sakai Yuuiji thought he was a normal high school student, until one fateful day when time stopped. Watching in horror, he witnesses a monster devouring the "frozen" people around him; but luckily for Yuuiji, he is saved by a sword-wielding red-headed girl that calls herself a "Flame Haze". The girl informs him that he has been dead for some time now and that his current self is merely a replacement for the human that he used be while alive. He is, she says, merely a torch whose life will come to an end when the blue flame in his chest ceases to burn. After this rude awakening, Yuuiji realizes that he is able to see the flames of life in other "torches"; and after discovering that a friend of his is also a torch -- and her life is burning out faster than his – he gains the courage to live out the rest of his life with meaning. Will Yuuji be able to find his place in the world before he ceases to exist?

Crunchyroll has Bleach :(

As of yesterday, Crunchyroll has secured the rights to stream Bleach in North America.

UPDATE: Even though Dattebayo has said nothing about CR obtaining the rights to Bleach, they did say if CR would get the rights that they would stop. Consider DB as good as dead on Bleach.

The Story (Epic TL;DR warning)
Last week, a few weeaboos on the Crunchyroll forums got the idea to start a petition to bring Bleach to Crunchyroll. I always found it weird on why Viz would never give Bleach the Crunchyroll treatment (knowing how it's had "Great success" with Naruto), but I guess we knew why they never streamed it like Naruto.

They didn't have a clue that people wanted it!

Viz Media and Dattebayo Fansubs are like Apple and Microsoft. Two companies that do similar things. Apple is the creator of these things, and Microsoft silently copies them and makes it better in the shadows. Apple never cares, and Microsoft will just keep on copying while making large profits by technically "borrowing" ideas.

DB knows well on they do is illegal. Viz on the other hand, have never mentioned DB at all. And they have never made any attempts to remove Naruto & Bleach from the DB website. Even when they started streaming Naruto, they never acknowledged DB's existence at all.

Anyway (I know I'm talking a lot), Dattebayo made a news post around the same time that this petition started, that they would stop Bleach if it were to be streamed by Crunchyroll. Naruto was stopped after Crunchyroll streamed it's first Naruto premiere. Bleach will (likely) be stopping in a similar fashion.

This can be good or bad news depending on which side you're on.

Legit side: Bleach has had very high ratings on Adult Swim. Viz Media dubbed The Arrancar arc and Part 1 of the Hueco Mundo arc which resulted in gaining new fans (Grimmjow of course!), and a larger Bleach fanbase. Now I can go around wearing my Bleach T-shirts without looking like a fag.

I was more amazed how my Hollow Ichigo shirt got the attention of a young boy in my local mall. He shook his dad's arm and said "Dad, look! That's Ichigo!" For a show, that airs after Midnight on Saturdays, I was a little surprised, that aside, it only shows more that Bleach fever is spreading. Then some random girl was like "WHOA I LIKE YOUR SHIRT". And she wasn't even fat.

My iPod got a new note that day. "Hit tha-- Buy more Bleach t-shirts."

Crunchyroll (despite having one of the most hypocritical admins ever), will give fans every single episode of Bleach streaming up until the current episode for free Hulu is barely in the arrancar arc as of right now (sub & dub). This is great for new and old fans of the series. No more relying on YouTube, no more relying on low quality streaming sites, and best of all, no more waiting a day for the newest Bleach!

The Not Legit side: January of 2009 will be a month I'll never forget. Naruto Shippuden was stopped by the best known fansubber ever, Dattebayo. We later affiliated with DPAC Fansubs whose goal was to be the successor to DB. Later that year, they were forced to shut down. Shortly after Shippuden was dropped by DB, Shippuden was constantly ripped off Crunchyroll by a group known as "Horrible Subs". As much as we hate them, we have to rely on this group now to get Naruto to you ASAP. However, it also brings Naruto to you at almost the same time that it airs in Japan, and that's pretty cool.

When DB gone, you're going to have to rely on Horrible Subs to get your Bleach fix. No other fansubbers sub Bleach besides Flomp at Bleach Portal, but they haven't subbed a current Bleach episode in a long, long time now. Taka Fansubs has already announced that they will not be subbing Bleach.

Toaru Kagaku no Railgun (とある科学の超電磁砲?, lit. A Certain Scientific Railgun) is an anime series based on a spin-off manga to the light novel series Toaru Majutsu no Index, focusing on the adventures of Mikoto Misaka and her friends. The anime is produced by J.C.Staff and began airing on October 2, 2009. The first 12 episodes follow the manga closely, with some changes and a few original episodes and characters to flesh out the story, while the later half of the series is anime-original written by Kazuma Kamachi, the author of the Toaru Majutsu no Index novels. It features five pieces of theme music, two opening themes and three ending themes. The opening theme for episodes 1-14 is "Only my Railgun" by fripSide, whilst episodes 15-24 use "LEVEL 5 -Judgelight-", also by fripSide. The ending theme for episodes 2-14 and episode 24 is "Dear My Friend: Mada Minu Mirai e" (Dear My Friend －まだ見ぬ未来へ－?) by Elisa, whist episodes 15-23 use "Real Force", also by Elisa. Katekyo Hitman Reborn! or "Reborn!" for short in the states, is a relatively new manga/anime. The first season is rather dull, but it really starts to pick up in the later episodes (in the vs. Varia arc, aka Season Two, is where it gets real good). Give it a few episodes and let the awkwardness of a boy bursting out of his clothes not stick to you for too long. Eventually his clothes learn how to stay on his his body, lol, and the series becomes more serious and way more entertaining.

Description: A baby hitman named Reborn, who is the Vongola family's #1 hitman of the mafia ventures to Japan where he meets a boy named Tsuna who has no determination in life. Reborn becomes Tsuna's "tutor", while he attempts to train him to be the next boss of the Vongola family. Reborn also possesses a special bullet call the 'Dying Will' bullet, that is a specialty of the Vongola family. This bullet will revive you from death if you have any regrets when dying. When the bullet revives you, it gives you the determination to do what needs to be done.

It's about a guy who gets kidnapped by modern pirates, and finally get friendly with them when he realize that the company for whom he was delivering something prefers to kill him than to help him.

Is there a Manga of this one? Is it better to read it, or watch the anime?
